Design Award at Blue Ridge Regional VEX

RoboDesigners won the Design and Programming Skills awards at the Blue Ridge Regional VEX Robotics Competition held at William Fleming High School on January 11.  This success qualifies the team for the Virginia VEX Robotics State Championship tournament scheduled for February 22 in Richmond, Virginia.  Daniel Moyer programmed the team’s robot for the Programming Skills Challenge.  Not only did RoboDesigners win the Programming Skills Challenge at this tournament, but according to the skill rankings they are currently tied with the Twisted Botz for second place in Virginia.  This year, Team 2190 consists of James Depret-Guillaume, Daniel Moyer, Kevin Moyer, and David Norton, with alumnus Andrew Norton acting as a mentor.
