QR Codes

QR codes have become nearly ubiquitous in recent years, and are a great way to encourage people to visit a website while out and about.  Our team has been experimenting with QR codes, so I thought I’d share how we’ve made ours, and what we’re using them for.

Creating a QR Code is easy–there are many online generators.  We have used this site to create our codes.  Copy/paste a web address or message into the appropriate box on the webpage, and click submit.

Our team has used these codes to promote our website at tournaments.  (There’s something about seeing a QR code that makes you want to find out what it represents…)  We have also used it to link to an event’s current rankings on VEXScores.com or a similar site, depending on the tournament.
